Koto Bolofo quote
A memorable quote from my interview with Koto Bolofo which took place in September 2011:
My memory is like that of an elephant. I always believe you take images and you capture them for that exact timeless moment. You suspend something. If it is an excellent picture, from the moment till you die, you will remember it. When I talk to older photographers, they remember a specific moment from a specific time. For that time and place, you are catching a suspension in this revolving world, the world revolving at the 3000 revolutions per minute, you are catching that moment and that moment will stick into your head if it is a good memory and good photo.
